Jays Nursery was established in 1994. The Nursery is privately owned and managed and has the sole use of a spacious demountable classroom in the grounds of Belvidere Primary School. The Nursery has the advantage of a fenced outdoor area, both grassed and all weather; we have a wild life area and garden for the children to plant fruit and vegetables. The school facilities such as the hall and playground are also made available.

The Nursery works very closely with Belvidere Primary School, every week the children meet with the reception class for story time, music and movement and playing on the playground. This enables children to become familiar and confident in a school environment.

The nursery is open from 9am until 3pm for children aged 2 to 5. We also have a breakfast club, after-school club and holiday club for children up to 8 years old.

If your child were to join us you will be given a more thorough welcome pack which would contain more detail on our policies and procedures.
